Without regard to the critical acclaim so awarded her most recent work, Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper, Toyin Abraham has proven that she truly believes in her craft and presently has another movie in the works titled Malaika.
In the concluding weeks of July, the actress soft-launched her new movie or its making ,, by sharing a picture of her wearing a t-shirt inscribed with the words #MALAIKATHEMOVIE.
The film is set to debut in cinemas on November 22, 2023, and is directed by Steve Olufemi Sodiya.
In the trailer, Toyin’s character is seen struggling to cope with her infertility and anger issues. She is surrounded by a supportive group of friends and family, but she ultimately has to embark on a spiritual journey to find healing.
